Welcome to the Wakefield Garden Club

We’re a vibrant community of gardeners, plant lovers, and nature enthusiasts from the beautiful Wakefield, Massachusetts area nestled north of Boston. United by a shared passion for all things that grow, we come together to learn, explore, and cultivate both our gardens and our community. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting your hands in the soil for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming place here to connect, grow, and be inspired.

Our members connect online, visit each other’s gardens, and work together to beautify the Town of Wakefield through our Civic Betterment Projects, including:

  • The Floral Way Festival – held annually on the third Saturday in May
  • Welcome to Wakefield Sign Plantings  refreshed four times each year.
  • Inspirational Programs – featuring local and nationally recognized speakers
  • Floral Design & Seasonal Workshops – hands-on fun for members
  • Member Garden Tours – discover and share the joy of home gardening
  • Collaborations with the Hartshorne House Committee – for special seasonal events and programs

Our club is open to everyone who wants to dig in, learn, and help make Wakefield a more beautiful place.
